Be Interesting if that Indian Joe whippet stuff throws n ties back with the pepsi whippet stuff in your bitch which even quite abit back in both dogs can tend to happen with out cross but similar lines further back similar to spaniels then tight lines in drovers from Romeo and two different pures in your bitch should be interesting indeed how they turn out🧐

Don’t forget, Indian Joe was more than 50% greyhound, and the whippet side was mainly non-ped.
Cheers.

Maybe that's the difference with the non ped adding that bit of extra size than a normal whippet?

I'm not knocking whippets by the way iv always liked em..

Indian Joe ran at 30lb and won both his titles on greyhound tracks.
Very unusual for a non-ped whippet x greyhound dog to be so light, but that’s the whole purpose of non-peds; to breed an animal with the size of a whippet and the speed of a greyhound.

Cheers.

I never met the owner but I know lads over Carlisle way that said it’s true.

Most of us used the non-peds as “dual purpose” dogs back then, racing and hunting.

I don’t know one non-ped owner now who would risk their dog by hunting now . Getting their dogs ready for the big races is all they think about now.

This one of mine, back in the late 60’s, Blue Prince, (Blue Boy x Zarwood), won plenty races, had no trouble with hares, and took the odd roe.
