My late son was part of a shark survey team in the Red Sea;   He spent a lot of time swimming amongst them and tagging them. Cheers

He was the spit of you charts , what an experience to have had...

I saw the pics of you swimming with the goldfish.

Can't forget this one of course

A great deterrent towards committing crime would have been to make prisoners share a cell for a week with Sykes. The crime rate would have plummeted. A fate worse than death.

Just looked back at them photos… isn’t it amazing how something so small can become the biggest boney fish on the planet! Nature always has a way of humbling you ;)

Sykes' father was abusive to him as well. Man hands on misery to man.

Been on boats just off the coast on fairly deep water but never seen one. Where did you hold the larva in the photo Mack? Do they migrate to breed or is it they just breed in the area they are?

We were out a few times a week mush, saw a turtle once,a few whales,a number of sunfish, dolphins and suchlike, enjoyed that summer.

I don't know where they breed, the first time I actually saw one I knew exactly what it was though, very distinctive.
