My  dealings with lucas owner were short . Don't know him . Don't want to . However,  people can slate him as a producer,  150 bitches covered . Yes lucas got smoked that day . But it's my understanding the dog killed 4 hares the day before on same land . Bad move imho . And at 6 year old . But he put the dog up there to be shot at . Only seen clips of lucas . But he was quality.  IF he had been run hard the day before.  Then that surely jaded the big lad . Robbie who owned romeo met him outside a cafe one morning.  He said the dog was like black marble . Fair play. You don't need to like the man holding the lead . Just be honest about the dog

i heard same and he was injured toe etc at the time be honest who runs a dog like bulldozer in a match injured or running 4 day before just excuses  for me mate  he was beaten by a strong hare

a good killer i’d say mate but top quality i wouldnt

Out of likes good post n something that I didn't know with not being on the scene n mainly doing my own thing, obviously knew about that day but no didn't realise he'd raj him the day before definitely puts a spanner in the works that does but at the same time even tho not the best of moves it shows how much confidence he must have in the dog..

I met him once on sone land think I mentioned it to you at the time there was a car full they came racing up a track to see what I was doing his mate thought I was poaching if I remember n they was driving j about for some runs I stuck my head in the car n had a good chat with him n found him to be really nice to me they disappeared after that n not seen him since.
