DiStuRBeD 0
far out, must be a bunch of game dogs if they are anything like the fiesty eels ive come across i found rolling them in the sand here makes them easier to grab, also when you touch them the slime seems to make all the skin(top layer) on your hands peel off, does that happen to u guys over there Quote Link to post

shaun v 3
they also lie in rock pools when the tide goes out, there was a programe [paul young]showing a bloke hunting them with a terrier on a fishing programe a while back, the dog was marking them under rocks and he was pulling them out with a pole Quote Link to post

ruby 7
Talked to a few people about it now, and another interesting thing they get with terriers and pigs is truffles, in france especially. They do use other dogs as well but its big money to some people Ruby Quote Link to post
Guest knocavoeboy
seen this on river cottage with hugh. does anyone know the name of the stuff you use as an artificial substitute to train a dog to find them. put it on something and then rewred for a find then take them out and you can get them to find the real deal. serious cash to be made on them.
