A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

What were in the original coursing breds, saluki, greyhound, lurcher?

Just normal Lurchers deerhounds / beddy crosses / whippet ect crossed with saluki/ saluki greyhounds

think most success came from beddy greyhound x saluki / saluki Lurcher

and a pure from that blood was known country wide as the best match dog decades before foxy unbeaten in a lot more matches ive heard a few mention it on here one an old geordie men need to be 80ish now to remember it

but remember the dog didn’t miss good for stacks but it was like shooting fish in a barrel most matches were deerhound crosses or grews or pure greys and the same will of been for foxy but not to the extent at it was 20 years earlier no there all coursing bred
