I’ve had my fair share of the beer dog talk over the years but f**k me lads there’s a pub near me they kill some stuff in there lol

Best pub I ever been in regarding dogs and birdmen was the Knave of club's in Londons East end. Think yourself lucky dai you still have a pub near you that dog lad's still gather in even if the beer brings out the tellers of tall tales. Lol

Got me thinking about another good pub were dog lads would meet up the Crossfield tavern at Highgreen nr Sheffield that was owned by the well known greyhound man the late Crim Smith. I have been told by lads i know from that area the pub is now flats.

It’s a house now did you ever go in the salutation up high he used to keep spaniels and ferrets

Never went in there they reckon the landlord was a sound bloke and used to put terrier and lurcher shows.

Never really a pub goer (as a grown up) and it’s a bit different but the best gathering of hunting types I have ever been to was the Queens Head at Trout Beck on the evening after the mayors hunt.

Absolute f***ing class !
