I never see anyone where I go Leo,plus a 28 inch A2A triax is unobtrusive and slides into a bag,I think from memory Rambo had a Hoyt with a 40+ A2A? That’s a whole different ball of wax.

More open were I am on my permissions. I also I think if I was to go abroad and legally hunt, then take quarry with a primitive recurve shooting of the shelf no sights. Is the ultimate test , to get within 15 yards of your intended quarry . Then to draw and hold that weight until a shot presented it's self is very hard work and every kill very hard worked for and I would imagine very rewarding.

Tbh mate yeah and all the cheap Chinese ones I didn't rate. I started buying my arrows from Merlin Archey UK , just found them better suited to me. But the chinese bows I rated , such as the black hunters and the T Bows ( Hoyt copies ) were great for what I wanted. Edited to add, I actually did get some cheap chinese arrows off eBay for my compound which did shoot fine, but for trad archery a better quality arrow I got better results. I found trad a different ball game, it's harder ( my opinion anyway ) and took me a good while to get a were I am now. I settled on 3 under gap style. But I just prefer trad , I shoot at about 20 yards and can hit the bottom of a coke can, so happy with that. Am sure compound is a lot more accurate, but I do just prefer trad mate
