This was how Bear was every single day for a month after breaking his neck then another pic of him as he is now,I never went to bed for 30 day's,I turned him over every 2 hours to prevent him getting

Here's Boots on one of the many occasions I've worked him until almost his last breath, the dog has no quit in him,Bear & Rose his pups are exactly the same, all these dog's would lay their life on

Hope everyone has had a decent season running their dogs 👍🏻 ..another one comes to an end & that's about it for my old mongrel Boots too,he's let me know the past 4 or 5 trip's out he's had enough

Thought I might have bumped into you at Wolsingham over the weekend, there were a few of the Flimby lads there .

Cheers.

I was all for going bud,I was going to fetch the pups over for a bit of socialising as with me being such a miserable b*****d it's probably something they could do with,as it happened my lad took the pups out for first light & hadn't returned soon enough for me to bring them so they missed out on socialization & I missed out on a bit of craic.. regarding the Flimby crew your bang on Richie,I think half the village had made the journey & I know Julie absolutely cleaned up with her dog's on the day..hope you're keeping well bud?

Yes mate , I’m fine . Had a craic with Jimmy with the little black dogs and his mate the stick maker with the Beddy’s from the Flimby Club.

I had a deer/grey qualify for the Cock ‘o the North but the judge seemed keen on the little rabbiting types.

Hows little Jacko doing, but I guess he isn’t so little now, is he into the dogs ?

Cheers.

Yeah Jackson is dog daft bud,he has a couple of lurchers those being Roxy the dam to my two Bear & Rose & a bitch called Lucky also out of Roxy from a different litter to mine. He has a Patterdale called Molly..he's well into the earth dog's,both Roxy (now retired as she's gone 10) & Lucky being 5/8 Grey 3/8 Bull they do what they do & have seen a lot of graft Richie,he's 25 now. He's out with his dogs both before work & again straight after work before he goes in the house. Regarding the showing & judging,it all depends on the day what types the judge likes & or dislikes isn't it,you could have a dog in tiptop condition, perfect confirmation etc but if it doesn't float the boat of the judge on the day there's nothing you can do bud.  Great to hear you're keeping well, that's the main thing Richie.

This is Lucky, she's one of Jackson's dog.

Up bright & early again this morning 🌄 another day of schooling & education for the young dog's,Gus & Tino were out yesterday morning & both flipped over one apiece, those two have really hit the ground running for just being 11 months & a week old. Probably take Maggie & Gus this morning & see how they get along,as I said earlier on a recent post Maggie was really held back due to a freak injury she sustained after Gus jumped a gate & landed on her, she's fine again now & is looking really well. We've got off to a decent start & are into double figures with the mutts in just the past fortnight, there's only Maggie who needs to be seen dealing with one on her own now & we will then have the team all up & away. Maggie still hasn't had her first season yet so I'd really like to get her to be seen doing the business then I can sit back with her & let nature do it's thing, whilst she's off I can then really kick on with her brother's,my lads pup Stitch bumped into some teeth the other day, luckily he was with Lucky who loves a roll so the pup got the blunt end without getting any stick so all good with him too. Very happy with how thing's are progressing with them, fantastic hunters, keen as they come..here's hoping we can steer them clear of injuries & see what they can do 👍🏼

Kali out with me this morning, again she's put a few to rest this past week just out & about on our daily walks, this will be her second season coming up, hopefully with a season under her belt & the experience that comes with that I'm quietly confident she will be a better dog this time around, here's hoping anyway.
