Korge 1
Hi all, Been a few years since I've been on here so have a new account, I used to pester everyone when I first got my terrier pup . I've just got my 2nd lurcher a saluki collie beddy grey x whip grey who's just turned 4 months old and have my original bitch a beardie grey x deer grey who's 6. Just looking for some advice on my younger pup yapping a bit when out for walks. She'll play fight with the older bitch for the majority of the walk you get they typical growl when they do, with the older bitch choosing to fight back and not run. But when the bitch decides to go full pelt running the young pup will yap when chasing her, it's only occasionally and never very much. Obviously out of frustration when she can't get near the older dog. So my question is, is this normal to expect with just a playful young pup or is it a sign that in the future on rabbits she's going to open up? She's a very vocal pup at home, whines and yaps at the other dogs of they have a toy or something she wants. I never had this issue with my older bitch and just wondered if it's something to be aware of or more of a case of a pup being a pup? All the best Quote Link to post

I know it a pup, and just playing and bit vocal. But I deff try to get it out on its own few times, it get more than enough exercise, when you work on rabbits, it have plenty of other time to play with the other dog as it gets older. 1 Quote Link to post
