Greyman 25,274
As well as the dandi lion cream I make for the joints I also make cough syrup misses has a tickle cough at the moment so just knocked up some of my mans medicine an onion sliced into three and filled with brown sugar the juice that comes out will sooth your cough as good or better than any medicine
BGD 6,385
I remember a while back when you said you were going to start making the dandelion cream how's it been working out? Assume you see some benefit if you're still making it
DIDO.1 20,879
Found this in the wood tonight. I know it's not the same but looks quite old. When we were young my dad used to make a concoction by sealing nipbone plants in bottles. He would then make us soak any aches or sprains in it. Stunk terrible

Can also be called nipbone apparently. I'll do some more research and make some. Then I'm going soak my kids in it when they fall. For old times sake You can use nettles to make a feed aswell, use this when the plants are young and need nitrogen for leaf and stem production, then the Comfrey at flowers and fruiting stage
Greyman 25,274
I know there is an incredible amount of pollen in the air this year and the tickley coughs seem to be a bit of a constant thing so I am upping production with a Tesco tonic bottle still stuffed with onion brown sugar a lemon and a drizzle of rum over the top is working well should get half a pint by lunch
