I would have said a Minelab Equinox 540 its what I started with easy to use. It come with headphones that are wired I found upgrading to Bluetooth headphones a godsend as you don't have to take the head phones off to dig. Also you a probe is almost a must.

Hope this is a help.

I was looking at getting one of these a few months back, but its not as simple as you tipping up some where and cracking on😉

You are buying a 50" Aluminum Folding Sluice Box. Folds down to 15". 9-1/4" wide. Walls 2-1/2" 13-1/4" Flange.

You can get some good little set ups for couple of hundred 👍

There’s a mush on YouTube pans for gold in the uk and uses a little sluice like that finds quite a bit of very fine gold in the black sand patch’s on beach,s worth looking if your interested

If you can find the Equinox 600 at this offer price I would go for that.

This pheasant was walking parallel to me about six foot away and only went ahead in the time it took to get my phone out.

The pheasants seem to come out the hedges when I'm in the field. There is a few patches of feathers in different places where a bird of pray has taken a few out. Talking to a lad that helps the Keeper out told me theres a Goshawk in the woods just across the road. I would love to see that.

I think the pheasants feel safe when I'm about.

Very good buy if its working GM. I think It's an Equinox 600 or 800. You can download a manual from Minelab site.

Have you got the charging lead ?

What is the second picture mate?

The only thing I don't like is the leaded headphones. Much better with bluetooth ones and your detector is bluetooth compatible.

To dig with leaded headphones I find a pain taking the headphones off with blur tooth you just carry on.

See how you get on mate its quite easy really.

I would use Field one to start with.
