Good place to visit in Scotland?

Recommended Posts

Well to be fair. Anywhere North of the Border is a beautiful place. As you get away from England you are immediately into Gods country. The Scottish Borders are by far and away the the most beautiful places. You can meet the best people, enjoy some of the best sporting interests and be treated to amazing history. You’ll start on the river Tweed and work your way up to Edinburgh which is the most historic city in the world. Don’t forget to ask about the hidden city which is stunning. You will go over the Forth bridge into Fife and the whole of Scotland opens up. East , West or right up the middle all is just pure quality. Whatever you decide to do and where, let the guys on here know how you get on. Have a great visit. Jok.

No license needed for sea fishing

If you want to game fish (salmon, sea trout and brown trout) you will need a valid rod license (can buy on line) and will pay to fish the river/Loch when applicable...every river/Loch will be different, some will be free... if you fish the sea lochs for sea trout, you won't need a license.

You don't need a rod license in Scotland
