Nail Gun & Compressor?

Recommended Posts

The septics are all getting a Porter Cable combo. Stapler, 18 and 12 Gauge guns and compressor. About $250.00!!! :icon_eek:

Fukking good luck with That sort of deal, here!!! :icon_eek:

Just an 18 Brad and suitable, plug in, compressor will do me. Just for knocking up the odd box. Purely DIY level.

Doesn't have to be a combo set, of course. Good gun and / or good compressor? Great! Yeah!

Please: No Batteries. Can we manage that? Thanks :)

Sweet work on the gun, Chid! That certainly cut straight through the shit for me! Looks ideal! :D Unless anyone comes along Soon, with a much better suggestion? I'll have that one

Compressor, sadly ....? ? Still looking for a better reviewed one.

:boogy: Just bought the Makita! Eyeballing nails as ye post came in :D

Why not batt's? Personal experience, mate. Simply never had any luck with the things. Grown to hate them.

Plug in guns seem to be vanishingly rare. Couple I Think I found seemed to lack Oomph? Dunno. For my limited purposes? A little compressor and a hose will be fine.

Just waiting for the word on a comp', now. Ryobi do a very popular one. But. it takes a fukking battery?! :wallbash: Stanley seem to have quite a range ..... :hmm:

Pick up compressors pretty cheap, I know a couple people with cheap parkside ones for doing odd jobs and they been going a couple years no problem

I'm trawling through Amazon, Chid. I know absolutely Nothing about these things. So, my biggest fear is receiving both, only to find I now need an 'adaptor' ?

I'm also paying a Lot of attention to where reviewers say they inflate tiers / spray a little paint / blow dust etc. I want to blast in 50mm brads! I'd rather pay more than be disappointed.

Have one of the Parkside ones in the garage and it's been spot on, used it with the 16 and 18 gauge Brad guns without any issues and a coil gun for lap boards.

Like so many good, basic little shed tools, mate, they seem fine. I've actually by passed Stanley to settle on this one.

It takes a 6.5mm Euro coupling, by the way. Trawling through the internet half the fukking night has got me that much.

Now, I need to know if the gun wants Euro or 1/4" BSP  :wallbash:
