If any big cat could be living wild in the UK, my bet would be on Lynx as they are very secretive, small and non vocal.

They say a butcher local to me used to keep a couple big cats (not sure what sort) and when new laws come in he turned them loose on the moor. But you would think the amount of hound packs around me someone would of seen them if there was a wild population
