Theres a new gun in town! lol

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

New on the block, so i thought i'd introduce meself and all (and please don't all jump on me as i've had a go at my profile as best as i can so far - a bit more to do maybe. :o ).

Where better to start than at the begining - I have (for my sins) been a member of that site since April 2006, and have for a little while now regretted it. It seems that there is no freedom of speech or right to opinion on there, as well as in recent months it looks like every reply i make kills the thread off. Therefore, i have become seriously dis-enchanted on there. I wanted to find a place to migrate to before leaving you see - i now believe i have found that place - I'll drink to that! :drink:

So, with that in mind, i googled 'UK air rifle chat rooms', and came up with this site - had a look around after registering and decided this sort of place is more my cup of tea! :victory:

Insofar as i have had a look around here, the choice of forums or departments certainly seems to be very wide and varied, the membership also does seem to be very friendly to new starters - this is an undoubted and very much needed bonus to all concerned IMO. Start as you mean to go on, as they say - keep it up people. This is nice to see, and is refreshing.

I have been into air rifles for years now, and as well as owning an AA S310 (i'm about the only one who owns one of these i think ;) ) i also own a 1969 AYA Yeoman 12g S/S.

If you want to know anything more, just ask, i don't bite - HONEST!!

Cheers, :)

Terry

welcome aboard reaper much better here you can even show us what you've shot unlike bbs (I loved th 310)

regards stoaty

Hehe . . . thank you for the welcome Stoaty, and I'm pleased you like the 310 - i made the stock you see on that pic myself.

A time consuming project, but worth it because the stock is unique to me.

Before that, it had the original beech stock, and nice to use though it was, it wasn't what i wanted at heart - a genuine walnut thumbhole.

Cheers:)
