David.evans 5,323
So after the 3am stalk last week and seen nowt , this week I changed farms I arrived at 4.30 and had a good look around as these fields are very large and open with 3 major routes back to the wood , where all the deer come from any way a herd of 34 fallow were seen with the xq38 and by there selfs 6 roe and one buck in toe , so I set up 100 yards from the route back to the wood and just sat in the truck drinking tea and waited till they made a move slowly they were making there way back to the wood , I could have easy took fallow , but thought better of it being the size of the sods , so went for this buck instead great neck shot , 95g SST and fell on the spot , in the truck , and in the fridge all by 11am 8 Quote Link to post
