May be in sub 12 , but at FAC level they are old hat . Nearly had a mfr a few years ago before they went under . Lucky I shot a rapid for a couple of days before I pushed the button. Thank god I did much prefer my HW100

looks like you have jelled with the rapids ??

I tend to agree that using just one gun be a considerable advantage to successful hunting. There is an old saying, 'beware the shooter with only one gun'.    If I stick with the Impact, I get into a flow which seems to work, switch to my rimmy and it just doesn't click with me and apart from close up stuff when I use the Snowpeak P35, I am only using the Wildcat fac at the moment and the results show my comfort with this gun.

I really don't think it is the  fact that you are sticking with the Rapid and it being better but you have great confidence with that gun which is more to the point. What goes on between our ears makes the difference quite often.

Using a spring piston rifle to a high standard and for a decent length of time and then start using a pcp, normally ends with the pcp giving back a high standard of marksmanship.

very true you learn how to shoot well or not at all with a springer.consistancy/technique are learned.as for pcp,s you can shoot them with many flaws and still shoot well but try to shoot a springer with bad habits picked up from having no skill will result in "this gun is shit i can not hit anything and i will sell it within a week".did pick up the latest fx something grs yesterday and was very impressed with it.about half the weight of my hw100ktl but twice the price.
