HW97K - Dry Fired?

Hi all,

My son managed to dry fire my 97K by accident tonight!

It has a PG3 Vortek Tune kit in, will it have done any harm? It seems to shoot okay afterwards.

Phew...zero hasn't shifted, and it shot accurate, pellet after pellet.

I don't know who was pleased the most, me or my son!

that happened to me with same gun a mate of mine done it,caused no damage

Dry fireing it will not harm it 

But tell him not to make a habit of it 

As it will curse damage in the end snapped springs and so on 

Tell him he can look but not touch

Cheers Jimmy, I was a bit worried!

He's learnt his lesson me thinks, we went out today again, he got 3 rabbits & 3 squizzers with the 97 for 7 pellets, 2 shots to finish off a squizzer.
