I done a job in Penzance many years ago, it was on a TA building...next door was this old cottage and a mental old bloke whod come to the fence and shout at us for taking jobs off the locals... now we're westcountry lads with accents to match...but this fuckung nutter was acting like we were shipped in from Albania...he was over 70 and obviously mad...but I admired his loyalty...lol

As a not particularly bright pal of mine said the other day......" stand a pint of water up in each corner of a room then knock them over....even the middle of the floor will eventually get wet "

Soon enough London to Leeds,Bristol to Blackburn will all be connected by the same filth..... and everywhere in between.

Its called progression remember.

Yeah I know mate, its a shame when you look at places like St Ives, Padstow etc which are all 2nd homes, coffee shops, gift stores etc...

But they're f****d without tourism, and some of these towns are half empty in the winter months....

Strange bunch the Cornish though.... lol

I had the same once in Munich mate, sat in a restaurant and an old boy came over and started bollocking the life out of us in German, just made out a few “Adolf” this and “English Swine” that.......anyway, he got the “f**k off grandad we won” and the owner chucked him out but fair play to him, can’t knock these old boys.

we dig the fowey in autumn winter and normally the little lane down to where we park you drive past empty driveways, this year theyve all had brand new jags, bmws and landys in all over christmas.

speak to a women in boscastle the other day and she had nothing nice to say about the summer residents but works in a f***ing gift shop ?
