That’s like eulogising Fred West by saying he could lay a lovely patio, and ignoring the other ‘aspects’ of his life.

That's fair enough if you live to that standard in all walks of life.

To me, this all relates to The Grebsters post on Lewis Hamilton.......

Can you admire and appreciate someone's achievements, but think they are a dispicable person ?

I think , yes you can, but there's a moral dilemma in buying their merchandise, but listening to music they produced for other artists opens a whole new debate.

Yes. If you can separate the merit from the personal. Doesn't mean you have to admire the the whole. Would you agree that is one of the big problems in society today? That people have to either fully disregard, or embrace, something without looking at the individual pros and cons?
