well lets just hope things will improve this year.not looking forward to scraping the ice off the car in the morning but i know i should be gratefull to have a job in these uncertain times.

Everything will improve when the sun returns mate, only another 8 weeks to go before everything starts to wake up and colds and flu naturally die down ??

I had an external plug socket put in and I keep a little heater and extension lead in the van, plug it in 5 minutes before I go and the windows are clear and it's nice and toasty!

You could just buy a Ford..

over here bud i've  got a remote start on our truck, you push a button twice on the key fob and it starts the vehicle that runs for 15 mins, when it's below a certain temp it puts the heated steering wheel and heated seats on so it's nice and warm when you get in it, it also does it in the summer the same, at a certain temp {hot outside} it puts the cooler seats and air con on when you leave it on the air con position so it's nice and cool when you get in.....perhaps you could see if you could get one fitted there bud

on my other truck {diesel} i have a block heater on it, what you do is plug it into an extension from the plug on the truck and it keeps the engine/oil etc. all warm over night for easier starting on cold morning and the heater works quicker....perhaps you could see if anyone fits them as well.....
