I find it pointedly notable that Farage hasn't started a party to stand against all this.

He'd form a " We don't like the colour of Boris' tie today " part, after all.

Here's the one, glaringly obvious, vote winner that vast swathes would get behind. And what's he doing? Taking chauffeur driven trips round a few hotels for a photo opportunity. Then going home.

Do you honestly believe any of the government parties, Ireland/UK, want to, or are willing to stop this mass migration ?.

Personally I don't think so. It's going to take a stand alone party, with the backing of the vast majority of the people to do this, but that's not going to happen, ( in my life time anyways), because they would be seen as to far right winged, and today's people that are been led by the nose, sheep, don't want that,

Farage has become like Sinn Fein, professional naysayer but not willing to actually step in and do something.

Unlike Sinn Fein, he achieved something in Brexit, that would never have happened without him so for that he deserves massive credit.

However I believe there is a time coming for a more libertarian type of party and he would have been the bloke to lead that.....but he won’t.

I get a feeling that Ireland is going to become a very interesting case post Brexit, they are going to have some choices to make.

The thing that really bothered me about Sinn Fein was/is, their always on about removing the British rule out of N.I. and uniting the country, which I fully agree with, and should and will be done someday, (that for another topic), but they turn around and want to bring in 20,000 migrants form the middle East. To me that's bloody scandalous, and toatly crazy.

It won't, if the government look to it's country and its own.

Hopefully for the UKs sake that's what will happen

Mate, you know the score, to many hating the English means more than anything.

I understand the depth of feeling because I know the history but as you point out that should get applied to even bigger dangers.

I can’t ever see there being a United Republic, there’s too many in the north who regard themselves as British.

The north of ireland is just about the most British place in Britain, I’ll tell you that for nothing.

Brexit in the coming decades is going to throw up some conundrums for everyone, not least Ireland.

That's just my point of view on the matter as an irish man, and rightly so imo, same   I wasn't/ don't want to turn this into a irish vers English rubbish tread, the whole of the British isles has a bigger, problem on its door step.

Remember when Varadkar was posturing and threatening about banning British aircraft flying over Ireland !

He was like the little coward mouthing off as long as he had the big guys, ( Germany and France),at his back.

The new guy, Martin, now realises Ireland will be the worst hit in the event of a " no deal " and is now panicking and demanding a deal !

I imagine a lot of the smaller, and some of the bigger, EU countries are worrying about the outcome if Macron continues with his unacceptable demands.

Cheers.

No me neither mate, I wasn’t trying to do that.

Just how I see it.

The shinners are like the SNP, a one issue party.

If it don’t involve sticking it to the English then they ain’t interested or don’t have a clue.

The SNP would also happily see Scotland over run with wogs if it meant a break with the U.K.

Folks are fairly comfortable hating on the English while they don’t want to open their mouth or tackle the subject of the genocide of the indigenous people of the British isles of which we all are no matter what flag we stand under.

We were one people a long, long time before countries ever got invented and that blood matters ?

It will come down to what people actually see and deal with mate.

Small stuff.

So they have just set up a ferry service for freight to go round Britain but the sailing is 24 hours and god knows how much it will be considering Dublin to Holyhead return is £400 to £600 and that’s 3 hours!

If the UK prospers and I think it will, you can get on an aeroplane for €10 and just do your business in the U.K. and you ain’t worried about IT infrastructure, mobile phone signal or customers or any of that.....you can just go to work, and hopefully without a lot of regulations costing thousands in the future too.

This is the problem Ireland will have to deal with at some point
