Hedgerow mooching

Recommended Posts

After 3 days of non stop rain eventually today was dry enough for a walk out with the pup. He seemed to be hunting a little better than last time and flushed a few for me. Hes taken an interest in the squirrels too , nose down and on a mission ? 4 pheasants for 4 shots today so pleased with that ? 1st shoot on Saturday looking forward to it. 20201015_131753.jpg.41d28fad909597b2c246b96df1297e13.jpg20201015_152913.jpg.34e7e267b988a9bfe95916bafae42d0b.jpg

Productive mooch:) can’t beat that feeling when your shooting well and fill the game bag?
the fields down my way are like swamps, saw a field ripe for decoying the other day, 100s of pigeons and crows on it but thought fcuk that as it just looked like a mission picking up and settin up:(

Stubbles today had thousands of pigeons on but 1 shot and they lift as a big flock. We all know that its usually a waste of time trying to shoot them like this.

Hushpower mate.
