Would love one of the big wide barges you see myself, just bought a kayak for my boating fix a bit easier to get about. Had a quick Google these are recommended by people that have done it http://www.cpltrans.com/ Or Ray Bowern (Boat transport England Ireland and Europe up to 70ft.) I am waiting for some reply’s mate so nothing to go on just giving myself a budget of 5 due to the price difference north to south the bot would be about 25 ton I would think
foxdropper 17,092
11ft requires a road escort not police so save on that .Poilce escort is priced at £27 a Mile ,ouch . If it’s going into a marina they will have lifting facilities so no need for crane your end .We brought a 40 ft container from Leeds to Swindon which cost £3.200 all in .Container was 2.5 g cheaper in Leeds and much better spec . foxdropper 17,092
You wouldn’t want a crane to travel from A to B mate .Costs more than the lift hire .Local firm either end .see post above

foxdropper 17,092
Any crane hire will involve either their agent doing a weight / distance calculation or your self signing a declaration you understand any risks .Id say you are going to need a 50 ton crane to swing that boat from loader to canal .
