Cheers mac, yes mate its nice to get out early when the weathers good, throw a shot feral on the roof then get in a spot before light to get the jackdaws & maggies

I bought a feww of these lofting hooks to place a deek on the gutter of barns which seem to work quite well.  I also place a maggie on one of these hooks and place far away from the pigeon deeks.

To get them onto the gutter, I use a telescopic car/caravan/upstairs windows aluminium pole, the type that has a soft brush on the end and just replace the brush with a fishing rod rest top.  Works a treat.
