I went round to farms and knocked on their doors (dressed smartly), it took a while to get somewhere, but I have found since I have got more permissions from word of mouth.

I joined the National Gamekeepers, gave me shooting insurance, the farmers particularly like that near where I am as a lot run pheasant/partridge shoots on their land.

Try different ways, but tell them it’s a service you can offer them, not can I just coming shooting!

get some letters printed bud and get knocking the doors try all the farms and golf corses allotments garden centres the list goes on mate ,once you get your foot in the door the rest will follow ive 10 permissions now

You probably already know someone who knows somebody - even if its just shooting rats to begin with - loads of people keep chickens. Just put the feelers out. You'll be surprised how things turn out.
