Among the excuses given to Gwent Police officers were:

  • "My son is a rubbish cook so I take him food every day"
  • "I've just been to feed the fish"
  • "I've been to buy nail clippers for the dog"
  • "I've bought a new catapult and wanted to try it out"

Bloody greyman sloping off to to use his catchbox I bet

Saying that  my daughter let slip in a phonecall that my exs  eldest son was there yet he lives in Aber nearly 20 miles away? Yet I've not seen the kids since beginning of march, ?

Heard of a few mothers pulling that trick, but doesnt work.

I've a few mates not seeing their kids for various reasons , difficult times but decisions none of us thought we'd be making strange times....

Yeah I wouldn't anyway due to situation an I'm 120 miles away but annoyed as my youngest who's 6 has bad asthma yet her sons regually visiting an I believe she's running out running errands for old people so increasing the risk of bringing it back.

Eh up Terry D. Nice to hear you on here again. ' All I did officer, was nip up to the allotment to make sure my mate hadn't run out of beer'. The bugger had so clearly I had to nip to the offi, grab a slab, take it back and make sure it was ok to drink. Honestly, didn't take more than 2 hours. Steady ride home and Bob's your uncle. Jok.
