jetro 5,349
Was out today mooching, and nothing around anywhere. These places were heaving with rabbits, for as long as I can remember. Dug plenty of foxes as well in the area, now scarce. Is it like this for many others. Not looking for the future. Will it affect the hares, like it did the rabbits do you think. I drove 50 odd miles this ebring to a mates place, and he had the same story, very few rabbits around his place either this year. Plenty of other game though . Atb j Quote Link to post
Penda 3,368
Shame that but it's the way it is some times I'm pretty lucky round here yeah there are bunnies around like lightning though some places where there were a lot of bunnies doesn't seem to be as many got a lot of places where hs2 have pounded the ground ie built on it and dug it up and stuff but It could be a lot worse I suppose there's other stuff moving closer aswell that's good to me cause if I can't get on to a bunny there's other options on the table and hopefully a meal on the table 1 Quote Link to post
ollieollie 766
They’re few and far between here, small pockets dotted about, I’m sure they’ll recover given time, I’ve increased my summer snaring because the good numbers I’m seeing during summer are gone come winter 1 Quote Link to post
ryaldinhio 5,188
Numbers were picking up around me then the floods happened. There's still a few about concentrated on higher ground. Hopefully others have the sense to leave em be while they recover but I'm not holding my breath. The dickheads round here will see it as some sort of advantage that they are concentrated on smaller ground. Fools. 1 2 Quote Link to post

You will never get anything like that here, even if it rained the full year non stop. Atb j Quote Link to post

If I thought a small number were overwintering I would leave off. also it’s a golf course so I need to be seen to be doing a bit so I don’t lose it to someone else. I don’t snare any other perms 1 Quote Link to post
