I haven't yet, I was holding out for my mate to breed iff his terrier bitch, I've seen her work a fair bit and I like her... but he bred his f***ing lurcher instead and left me high and dry!! Lol

Thanks a lot for the offer mate, and I'd certainly be interested, yours are spaniel x terriers aren't they?

Personally from what I've seen they are great bushing dogs but not sharp enough around rhs holes for ferreting, a lot of ours is big thick hedges, my old terrier and the one my mate has catch more in the hedge top than the runners do bolted...

Like I say I've only seen a couple bred your way, and I'm very impressed with them working cover, it's just that terrier sharpness I found a little lacking...

1 of them back to a full terrier would be right up my street I reckon..

Yes mate they are terrier x cocker......Id like to use white van mans dog still or balaurs black dog and keep them an even cross as they are perfect for me and don’t tend to go to far or drop to ground.....I say tend to as they do have their moments lol

just brought a Garmin 100 set up for the red bitch tho as although they always come back it will make life easier knowing where they are so should be good.

its her on the left I’ll be breeding from mate

Cracking little dog tbh and if i can get her pups in good homes then even better so you’d be welcome to one mate

Thank you mate, we'll talk more nearer the time..

Wad out with Balaurs dog yesterday and have watched Geths dog since a pup...I've seen more of Geths, and he puts gear out of cover very well...I like him a lot, Geth will say the same about the sharpness when ferreting, it's just a terrier has that bit of edge imo... but for an out an out bushing dog I think they're great...

Yeah they are both what I’m after mate (properly should check they don’t mind first lol) but either of them would be spot on from what I’ve seen on here.

I never doubted you...lol

I don’t mind admitting I’d take great pleasure in seeing that little dog hunting rabbits........Why you’d never buy one for working every day but for a bit of a laugh get it on the coupling and see what it does lol

Hi yep be welcome to use Tig, I'd say he's a bird dog with a thing for deer, but not much cop on rabbits, great nose, finds woodcock pheasant with ease used to get up on fallow in the forestry. But if I was a rabbit guy I'd not breed from him, easy to live with great temperament. Short range dog, I'd probably want a pup of him if put to a non earth terrier or maybe a terrier/ hound to give a little more range but could throw the same or completely different or a pure cocker, if he wasn't gun shy he'd be some kind of gundog, retrieves well and quarters great. Might be better speaking to geth lol, but I do enjoy him mustard on mice....

Nice one mate, will he be going back to Romania or will he be over here next summer?

I've taken her out the back with a ferret and the dogs, never a proper day, but pulled her out of a hole clamped on a rabbit lol....

She whines outside the ferret court to go in and play with them....

I wouldnt mind a proper one, but would rather a terrier I think...she is pure ignorant at times...lol

Mrs is on her works do tonight,so the sausage is curled up on the sofa with me.... she gets away with murder, every rule in the house has been broken...
