No wonder they get dumped if they grow to that size . you can see a youngster with a wee one in a aquarium but some of them are big buggers

I saw a "Caution Turtles Crossing" sign in Ontario last year tilly,i know you get some huge ones over there.

there probably that big, because there were loads of small gold fish in the same pond....i mean loads....in Canada......there's big and then there's bigger....lol lol...

we haven't seen any here mac, not yet any way......that is a big one there though.....i will have to look into it where these turtles are over here.....i will keep you posted if i find any thing out....
