Might be a no brainer to the experienced but I'm just starting out that's why I'm seeking advice, I think I'll just go straight from breeders to the vets with the pup and get it all done myself

That's the spirit

Give it a week fella the pup will be all out of sorts as it is and if he has been jabbed you don't want to jab it again that soon ... unless you live in a real parvo hotspot don't panick .......

Cheers socks, I'm only 23 and a novice to the dog game I'm not one of these who pretends to know everything because I've read and watched plenty so all advice is appreciated!

No dramas mate we all started somewhere ... give it a week to settle in and just enjoy the little thing ... plenty of play and reward ... get it out and about even if you carry it everywhere let it see smell hear loads of different things it's brain is growing so fillmit full of anything you can when it's young ... if something spooks it just stay calm resist the act of comforting it as all you will do is confirm it should be scared ... just be chilled And allow it soak everything up ... but don't forget it's only weeks old so little and often ?

Nice one mate I'll definitely take all that on board, I pick him up on Friday so I'll be sure to keep everyone updated and ask for more advice at a few hurdles! I feel like a kid at Christmas

When i had mine done last year the vet said i had to wait 2 weeks before jabs because it would be stressed and the jabs will cause more stress.like you put.

1st jab at 10 weeks,2nd jab at 14 weeks and the 3rd at 15 weeks then 2 weeks after there fully innoculated.but took them places where there's no dogs or livestock.

Just telling the bloke how it was for me.
