A drop point Jäger

Recommended Posts

Hello,

today I finished this drop point Jäger with a 11,9cm blade from 1.3505

Solver soldered guard from brass, spacers from aluminium and micarta, sambar taper and the pommel from brass with a 7x57 FNT 1930 cartridge.

Love the brass end cap profiled into the sambar.

Deffo the whole thing is awsome but it’s the detail  in the spacers and the blade itself I can’t get enough of😀

Thank you very much, for your kind words!

I really enjoy sharing my work with you, is there anything more satisfying than creating something with your hands that will maybe last for generations?

I think I was wrong when I decided studying graphic design, I should have been learing for gunsmith or something similar :D

Kind regards

Nicolas

Very nice maybe one day I will treat myself to a custom knife.

For years my EDC is an opinel no 8. Can get a scary sharp edge. Own few others aswell. Also a good budget knife which is pretty well made is the Kershaw range.own a few of them.
