A syndicate of bailiffs had when I was there must be 30 years ago. One was knocking out Pike after Pike as the water was just clearing, tried and tried to get him to let me have a go, stuffy twat kept saying oh I can't do that. So decided to tell him how I saw a nice Salmon must have been close to 20lb "oh we don't get them to that size in the Exe" Oh right I said. Walked away smiling it was 19lb 14oz Lol came out on reinforcing tying wire made into a snare.
