Yes they are, there’s no insulation in these old houses, there nothing but stone and lime mortar. 

Nothings square in my house, if you hang a picture straight it doesn’t look right lol.

I'm in a modern build,about 14 years old there's walls not straight and they put solid wood doors on with small screws so all the door frames have split,where the doors have ripped them out?

That makes me feel a bit better that I’m not the only one living in a crooked house. 

The wardrobe in the bedroom is flush to the skirting board but it’s about 8 inch from the wall at the top ?

same here mate ,,,we live in an old farm workers cottage.....the floor up stairs is about as streight as boy george
