when i went to collect him , the little sod was sat on the mat eating biscuits!!! he has a tiny scratch on his paw , which he then promptly showed me!!! and after lots of tail wagging and licks wanted to get back in truck!!! he has NO prey drive so wouldnt have survived in the forest, he is also used to heated kennels with duvets so doesnt like the cold!!!

he is home safe and sound , thats all that matters , thank you all for your kind wishes and support , been one hell of a night!!!

the bitch is fine this morning , not even a limp!!! looks like a mummy though , the big bitch has one hell of a tooth mark in her thick leather collar , which would have done some real damage had that have connected!!! and she is lame from puncture wounds to shoulders and legs, my 3 yr old son is still upset as is the young girl who takes danny to ringcraft for junior handling

please let this be a warning as to how bad 2 bitches can go off when they feel like it

THANK YOU AGAIN , A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

Glad you got your dog back.

IMHO once two bitches fight you are in for trouble for along time to come.

I had a terrier and whippet that had been together since pups, they were fine until they were about three years old.

One day with no warning a major fight, seperated them everything fine for a few weeks then kicked off again, and again.

With dogs you will find one will usually back down and in the future remain submissive to the dominant dog but bitches will often fight to the death unless seperated.

In the end I had to rehome the terrier because it was like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

All the best.
