THE STIFFMEISTER 17,400
as much as he is on fire at the moment, Kane cannot continue in this form, it's freakishly good, so when he dips towards the end of the season or woe betide get injured, what will England possibly do? I just do not get how we will score in Russia without him? I've followed England since 1990, I cannot remember a worse England side during that time than the current crop of players

WILF 50,878
Made a few quid from that as well Cheers, D. If making a c**t of yourself in a pizza advert because you let yourself and your team down qualifies you to inspire men then he is the perfect bloke for the job. I hardly think saying I picked up a hundred grand from Pizza Hut for having a howler is going to win over a dressing room of young, hungry athletes playing at the top level of their chosen sport ! jiggy 3,209
24 hours after they qualify and the English media and supporters are already slating the team. It's mind boggling why any player would want to play for them with the abuse they receive. In any discussion it is very rare that an England supporter will row in behind his team and will refuse to allow criticism of them. Try supporting them in good and bad times and stop the media trying to dig up sh1t on them all the time and they might actually develop some pride in the jersey. It isn't the managers that are the problem.

It's alright for other nations.......Ireland has GAA, Wales has rugby, the Jocks have drinking and violence.......but us English, we only have football......it's all we f***ing do sport wise! jiggy 3,209
There is a high possibility that Ireland will be knocked out by wales Monday night. As stupid as it sounds Martin o neill was awarded a new contract last week with 2 games to play in 4 days when most would say why not wait a week until those vital games are played and see if we get to World Cup or not. IFA are backing him no matter what happens and that can create confidence and unity in the squad. If they lose there won't be a witch hunt on players as individuals to see who they are shagging or to dig up dirt on them. They are normal people at the back of it all just like the rest of us and make mistakes. There is a thing called pride and honour and I think that's what England won't have if their supporters and media don't row in behind. Win or lose.
