slip lead 862
Is it only after the dogs had a run, or still happening after many hours of rest. How is he when eating, or after food.. 1 Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,406
Hi lads My dog was running through some barley fields and has been coughing Any suggestions ? Will he be able to cough it out? Cheers dan he may or may not be able to cough it out mate. a mate of mine that does some shooting wont work his spaniels in barley crop as he reckons there is a slight barb on barley and it can get stuck in a dogs throat or nazel passage. he will work his dogs through wheat no problems. i know a lad whos dog run some game through a barley field one summer whilst out on a general walk and it was doing exactly as you discribe afterwards. the dog did manage to shift it. it shifted the evening before he took it to a specialist to have a camera down its throat, as the camera the local vet had didnt go down far enough due to it being so big. everyone involved seemed confident it was caused by barley 1 Quote Link to post
