Jonjon79 13,358
New roofs on the mewses? ...... Are the birds coming back as well Jeff? Quote Link to post
j j m 6,611
mate the roofs all need replaced they had been on ten years,i was going to take all the mewses down they are solid though will out live me they were all put up with good foundations and good wood bye a joiner cost me a lot of money ,but i thought if i ever get back in to breeding it would cost me thousounds to re build,so i thought id put new roofs on and maybe start again next year,it took me over 30 years to build all my breeding stock up peregrins spars harris hawks gosses eagle owls kestrels redtails,i just needed a break if i started again it would be with a different set up the harris hawks go for pennys these days but i always got good money for mine as the female was a superior bird massive with massive feet and her young were big lumps, hopefully one day jon id like to start all over again but it means travelling all over the country for the right birds to start with mate 2 Quote Link to post
