northern lad 2,292
On the subject of Parvo,my sister was rushed into hospital last week, very ill, doctor ordered ambulance etc.She came out in a rash, lost the ability to walk and her limbs were swelling....one of the doctors after examining her asked if she had a dog (she hasnt) and then told her there was a spate of Parvo in PEOPLEin Manchester!!!Never new people could get it....apparently its a different strain of the virus that doesn't affect the dog but is transferable to humans....Shes home and better now and still non the wiser as to what it was.
