the latest scam at my vets, terrier pups docked at 3 days go back iat 8weeks to get the certificate for the docking because they have to be chipped to put the chip number on the docking certificate along with the mothers chip number and have the first jab while your there LOL it makes your head spin.and the wallet a lot lighter

i think I remember my vet saying if you don't get the annual booster done on time you have to have the full works again to start a fresh. It was either the vet or the wife that told me lol

once they immune that's it for life , maybe odd booster if they round rats regular, otherwise its a rip off, we don't get inoculated every year now do we?

On the subject of Parvo,my sister was rushed into hospital last week,very ill,doctor ordered ambulance etc.She came out in a rash,lost the ability to walk and her limbs were swelling....one of the doctors after examining her asked if she had a dog (she hasnt) and then told her there was a spate of Parvo in PEOPLEin Manchester!!!Never new people could get it....apparently its a different strain of the virus that doesn't affect the dog but is transferable to humans....Shes home and better now and still non the wiser as to what it was.

Anyone who has kids are likely to come across human Parvo, commonly known as slapped cheek syndrome.

I had slapped cheek syndrome when I was a kid usually shaped like my mums hand .
