Congratulations, not many manage it first time , no mean feat, think us (boro) and safc will struggle to make the adjust first time round, too much restructure needed imho, think both will be a while before the premier beckons again

dont like to see any north east time do bad that includes hartlepool and gateshead,i dont think sunderland will bounce straight back up i think they will struggle in the sh,t league with moys at the realm and i think defo will soon be jumping ship and who can blame him, playing for a rubbish club like sunderland he will soon get snapped up, ,id like to see boro come straight back up,but for now its just the toon in premeier ship football, and if ashly puts his hand in his pocket and keeps the current manager i think they will do well

Cant see us coming straight back up under Moyes, negative football is just that negative football. The management at Sunderland have a lot to answer for, giving Moyes the job with his excellent record after leaving Everton.Did they expect any different from him this season ? lol They should have known when a few games into the season he said that we were already in a relegation battle . Toon done well and its back in the big league for them, just see if they can hold on to Rafa now !

mick for any manager to say there in trouble after a few games is sh,t mate,im not sure why sunderland took moys as a manager, ive a few good mates from sunderland who are die hard sunderland fans not like some of the gob shi,tes on the forums and they said from the beginning they did not want moys as a manager, different manager bit money spent you never know they could bounce back but not with moys and the squad at the moment,i honestly cant se defoe staying with them at the end of this season

Whats with the clubs from the North East, the fan base, the stadiums the local talent etc.,as soon as one of the clubs goes up at least another goes down. The only way a club from that area will ever win anything is for somebody far smarter to build a 250,000 seater stadium, amalgamate the 3 top clubs and their supporters and they will dominate football for decades. If the london clubs, the Scouse clubs, the midland clubs did the same they could compete with the red and blue side of Manchester.

Moyes is the best thing that drove up the A1 since Hadrian. The majority of the side he inherited did not have the heart for the task in hand,Moyes wept blood to get that pile of shite to play for him.Look at his record at Preston, then Everton and even MUFC when he never got a fair shout. If he gets his team he will get back into the top flight and make them a middle team and thats 3 or 4 places above anything they have ever been before.

iirc Moyes has had his moments Preston promoted, qualified for Champions League with Everton and a Final appearance in one of the cups. Then 10 month at MUTD and sacked, less than a year at Real Sociedad in La Liga and sacked.Next manager of Sunderland and they were then relegated, like I said what were the Sunderland management thinking appointing him in first place ! Plenty of fans already saying they wont be renewing season tickets if hes still at the helm along with countless other fans who never wanted him there in the first place. Only people glad to see him at Sunderland are the Newcastle fans. lol

Where's GravyMax ? His hometown team Hartlepool are relegated, his premier team, Sunderland are relegated.......the silence is deafening ..........

I think the irony with him is hilarious...but i have to say you can always rely on the truth to show itself eventually.....a man reveals a lot about himself when he gets something blatantly wrong, some stand up straight and take it on the chin, others run and hide.......similar to how a terrier stands their barking only to run and hide behind a tree as soon as the quarry takes a step forward......that silence after the event is whats called the " lets hope nobody noticed " period......horrible trait to have but f****n funny to watch.

What sort of true fans would stop going to the game just because they don't like the manager.......my mob left our ground and the club will never be the same again....but very few fans stopped going to the game you support the club and the area itself not the people in charge of it.
