Blackbriar 8,569
I think when empires put there own in power it was a quicker route to peace rather than playing diplomatic chess, should've just left Russia to it. America and EU have prolonged the situation and probably ruined the EU. I agree ! The West's supplies and support for the 'rebels' has only prolonged the conflict - and the aim was to counter Russian influence, rather than a genuine support for the other side. The latest air strikes will give false hope to the anti-Assad forces and ensure that the carnage continues unabated......

Lenmcharristar 10,366
Bet the trumpster was on the phone to Putin straight after the strikes and told him to put his dog on a lead.
Silversnake 1,099
We will probably hear the truth, but to decipher it from the fifty thousand other stories that get thrown out there is nearly impossible. I can't blame anybody for not caring as how are you supposed to care when you don't really know what is going on?
C556 351
Catching up with what's going on here and it looks like the US is going all in support of the Saudis interests here. There's been quite a few airstrikes on Syrian Army positions including a column of tanks that were wiped out as they went to attack an ISIS checkpoint. https://www.rt.com/news/391150-coalition-strike-syria-forces/
