All over the UK it is illegal to use a. 17 on Any deer. Minimum calibre for Muntjac and CWD is. 22 centerfire. You can shoot Roe in Scotland with. 22 centrefire. All other deer. 240 or above. It's a shit calibre anyway. Go for. 22 Hornet or. 223 for vermin. Then, bollocks to having a 22 centrefire for munties and CWD, just get a. 308 or. 30-06 conditioned for deer, boar and AOLQ, better to be over gunned than under gunned. P.s.
