Come Hail, Rain, or Snow , Tommy Cullens Gain Irish Open 4th Annual Dog Show and Race Day for Lurchers/Terriers/Whippets and Ferretts will take place this year in Baltinglass, Co Wicklow Sunday April 2^nd 2017

 

Please note, this show will be a qualifier for the Master Mc Grath / 5 Nations Champion Whippet and 5 Nations Terrier Championship at The Irish Game and Country Fair at Shanes Castle on Saturday 24^th June and Sunday 25^th June and the 5 Nations Champion Lurcher and Mick the Millar at The Irish Game and Country Fair at Birr Castle on Saturday 26^th and Sunday 27^th August .

 

There are over 50 classes at this brilliant show, with trophies, nuts and rosettes for every class. ( Full list of Classes later )

 

The Judges are as follows :

Whippets : Jim Dalton

 

Lurchers :

Ring 1 -- Sean O Keefe

Ring 2 -- Mark Delaney

 

Terriers – Keith Murphy

 

Childrend Handling Class – Margaret Mc Stay

Ferretts -- To be confirmed

 

Tommy is pleased to announce that Lee Cranston will have a stall at the show full of Hunting Gear, and Mar Walsh will also have a stall with leather leads, couples, and collars.

 

****Childrens Handling Class for all types of Lurchers /Terriers and Whippets **** This will be a free class and a prize for every child in the ring****

Me and ma dad are thinking about comin over for the weekend from sunny Scotland. Ferry across on the Saturday and makin a weekend off it with with a couple o mutts. Saw some o the lads dvds good vieiwing.

Guys, Tommy has said the showing will start at 10.00am sharp, so get your behinds out of bed good and early and get a good parking place. We will be leaving the North at 6.00am. An early start.
