Couriers

hi all, I recently bought a air rifle from a member of here from Cheshire, I have been on the parceltogo site trying to book a courier to bring it to me in the north east but they are all flaging up prohibited item ,,, of you guys suggest a courier service or any alternative , atb belucky

Charlie - do you have to tell lies to the post office or A-B couriers also ?

For that matter, is it better to lie to any of the couriers lads ?

Reason I ask this is that I`m very tempted to send both of my FWB`s to Sandwell Field Sports and I thought - parcels to gunsmiths might make someone`s mind "click" if your not supposed to send an air rifle privately ?

I was put off telling porkys as parcel force said that all items are scanned and if it's a firearm of any description it gets pulled and unwrapped and then tested to make sure it's sub 12ftlb so I gave up. Just my luck for mine to be the one that gets held for weeks and damaged as well.
