Declassified CIA files have revealed that US and Russian nuclear submarines collided off the coast of Scotland over 40 year ago. The US sub was carrying 16 nuclear missiles which led to fears that it could spark WW3.....

There's a couple of Submarine accidents that they think could be attributed to collisions or failed torpedo tests.

USS Scorpion was one, it's possible it was following a Russian sub which then performed an evasive manoeuvre resulting in collision. If it happened all this stuff would be highly classified and wont see the light of day for decades.

Oh yeh and there is up to 50 nuclear weapons that are lost not to mention the nuclear reactors from those subs that cannot be retrieved :D

In the 60s a B52 bomber had to drop 4 nukes in an emergency, 2 were recovered, 1 exploded showering the area with plutonium (apparently 5 out of 6 safety fuses failed which mean it almost fully detonated on US soil) and the 4th landed in a swamp and it's still there today crazy!

and a lot of fishing trawlers that have been dragged down by subs that the mod have denied

Been skippers off boats fishing off the Isle Of Man who've had that happen . . Though Ministry of Defence always deny it as you'd expect !!
