The vet is Obv choice but you hear story's or old wives tales on how folk nurse the dogs back to health Quote Link to post

Never under-estimate poteen for a terrier man. IMO I haven't heard of any old wifes tales being used in years (unless by fools) and giving first aid legally to working dogs is widely available on line without lining a greedy vets pockets.
