Bad luck that mate! Even the toughest dogs can break toes, My Daughters dog out of my bitch broke hers 9 weeks ago Hit it on a rock chasing bunnys, she is 7 mths, (Clean break in a good spot if there is such a thing). All healed now. She uses her for ferreting showing no signs of discomfort, summer here and ground is like concrete. A.T.B with it SB

Bit of good news...

The orphopeadic vet has had a look at X days and is confident the bones will knit together well with rest and keeping it strapped for 4 to 6 weeks, no need for wiring etc.

Looks like she'll keep her toe..... for now lol

Yeah it is Ken, it'll save a few quid and she'll be back a lot quicker too.

I've been a twat and not insured her yet, she will be now.

How's Tilly getting on?

Ok mate the leg is pinned in place for the next 5 weeks so I won't really know until then ... she is bored shitless but she has to be kept still so she doesn't come out of the run until the pins are out ... you've got to be cruel to be kind .......
