green lurchers 17,052
ffs gnasher, you make out like there fat bums pulled of the dole, the training and dedication they do is top notch. People on the dole cant afford 10,000 calories per day...........ask any pure strength athlete what the hardest task they have to dedicate themselves to on a daily basis is and they will all say eating not training. i like the eating bit

I always had exceptionally strong shoulders that I only had to train twice a month in the end or I looked like a freak ... I used to rep 120kgs military press seated when I was 87kgs body weight .......

Thats exceptional weight Socks the barometer of shoulder strength tends to be bodyweight only on overhead presses so anything above that is good going my anatomical shoulder size is genetic from the ol man but like anyone else my muscular strength in that area came from hard work i just found it a really enjoyable bodypart to train and hit from different angles. That's exactly how I felt ... my chest and shoulders were my favourite body parts to train ... I had always worked hard from a kid ... I did farm work ... coal delivery ... laboured ... worked down the pit all jobs that demand a lot of work out of your shoulders so I suppose they were naturally strong before I started training properly ...... Theres a big difference between raw strength and gym strength i see guys with real impressive physiques that have very average levels of strength as they have never exercised outside of a gym and become accustomed to gym movements only so although they have good muscular strength their true tendon strength never gets tested.......i didnt quite work down a pit or even lift particularly heavy stuff but i was competing in sport and taking my body serious from an early age so like yourself the core strength is already there.
