Tag Along In South Yorkshire

A long shot i know but i was just wondering if i could tag along with someone i have all the equipment and 2 solid working hobs, im just looking for tips etc when out, in return i am willing to carry the game, do the digging etc.. Thankyou

Sounds like youre in the same boat i was in afew months ago, just get out to a few farms and estates knock on the door and ask.

 

Thats what i did and im a shy bloke, i found land owners were very interested in ferreting, and one of them comes with me every so often.

 

Theres loads of ferreters up near you, suprised no one will take you out.

Always the case pal have some permission near me like that can walk for miles and see f**k all I don't shoot myself but there's plenty crows and pigeon on it

Surely seeing foxes is a good sign...

Can you not kill a fox with a 22 air rifle? Was under the assumption you can but would need to be very accurate. If you get rid of a few foxes you might find more bunnies.

Perhaps MR based her question on reading the airgun section with all their "tactical" guns and special pellets. Knocking over a horse at 450 yards seems possible according to some of the write ups.
