A Nice Spot For A Run

Yesterday I took the dogs and the ferrets to a spot I hadn’t tried before, but had seen a couple of rabbits there a few weeks ago.

It was a beautiful day out and a nice spot to spend a bit of time running the dogs and ferrets. After three hours of ferreting I couldn’t manage to catch any, most were bolting close to the water and it was hard for the dogs, so I packed up and did one more set on the way home, got one to bolt and the dogs picked it up. Even when I don’t catch any I still love it.

Doug do you have croc's in that water if so I bet you hammered them pegs in hard. Cracking ground again.

It was a nice spot to spend a morning, had a good look around there is a few there but hard to get at.

I might go back with the light and have a look. No Crocs in Victoria or N,S.W mate they are up north.

Its steeper than it looks in the photo, can't net the bottom holes without falling in the water Thats where they were bolting from, will lamp it this week see how I go.

 

Kass does better in the light when they run slower and can't see lol But Yea she is faster than she looks

Nice place to catch a few bunnies and for a fish by the look of it. you should have taken a rod with a few lures and and landed a few reddies for the plate bud
